Ryuu is a minor character who first appeared in Kapitel 71.
Etymology[]
'Ryuu' means 'dragon' in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Ryuu is rather short; there is little difference between his and Nene's heights. His facial shape and hairstyle are similar to Nene's. However, his hair colour is not the same as hers, and his eyes are narrower. His fringe falls over his forehead in several strands. Like Nene, he has a pointy chin.
Personality[]
Ryuu has been shown to have an irritable and hot-tempered personality, especially when he feels that Nene's safety is being threatened.
Relationships[]
Nene: Ryuu is fiercely protective of Nene. She is his only family.
Manga synopsis[]
Ryuu and two other residents of the 24th District find Frau's unconscious body, and because he does not have a pulse, they assume that he is dead. Just as they are giving him a burial, Frau awakens and they are initially frightened, but eventually introduce themselves and give him some water. Ryuu attacks Frau when he feels that Frau poses a threat to Nene's safety, but one of the others restrains him (Ryuu).
Ryuu briefly reappears near the end of Kapitel 79, along with Nene. The siblings watch as Frau, Castor and Labrador prepare to infiltrate Hohburg Fortress. Ryuu and Nene do not appear again after this.
