Nyx is a minor antagonist in the 07-Ghost series.

In Greek mythology, Nyx is the name of the goddess and personification of night.

If his name is Nicks, it could be a derivative of Nicholas, which means "people's victory" in Greek.

Physical appearance[]

Nyx is of average height and slender. He has short, light-coloured hair with a side parting and a long fringe, large eyes of an unknown dark colour, a long nose and a large mouth.

As a servant of a noble family, he wears the appropriate clothing.

Nyx initially appeared to be a kind, welcoming man who was loyal to his employer, Rena. However, he was later revealed to be greedy and disloyal, willing to betray Rena and her mother for one-fifth of their inheritance.

Nyx apparently does not care for Rena and feels no loyalty towards her.

He respects Ugur, and the two men were accomplices in Ugur's scheme.

Little is known about Nyx's past. At some point in his life, he began working for Rena's mother, and after her death, worked for Rena. However, Ugur managed to sway his loyalty to Rena and her mother with an offer of monetary gain.

Manga synopsis[]

Nyx conspired with Ugur in the latter's plans to murder his (Ugur's) sister, because Ugur had promised him that he would receive one-fifth of the inheritance as a reward. Capella attacked him with combat Zaiphon when he tried to kill Rutia.

In the end, along with Ugur and his (Ugur's) wife, he was arrested by the Imperial Guard and taken away from theAlmarz Residence. He has not been seen again since, and his current status is unknown.

  • It is likely that Nyx does not have a Zaiphon. [1]
  • Nyx appeared to be the youngest of Rena's servants.

  1. When Capella attacked him with Zaiphon, he was shown to be unable to defend himself.
